What Indagate reads from your WebCTRL installation

What stays exactly where it is
- Field controllers keep executing the sequences they were commissioned with
- Safety relays, interlocks and E-stops remain authoritative
- Existing BACnet addressing stays valid — the namespace maps onto it, it does not renumber it
Replacing the supervisory layer is not replacing the control layer. Indagate is not a safety-rated controller, and the field controllers you already trust keep doing the job they were commissioned to do.
Common questions
Do we lose the control programs our dealer wrote?
No. Those programs live in the controllers and keep running there. Indagate replaces the layer above them — the graphics, the trends, the alarms and the scheduling — not the sequences themselves.
Who draws the graphics after we switch?
Nobody draws them. They generate from the asset model per equipment type, so the fourteenth VAV box costs what the first one did and a change to a type applies everywhere it is used.
Can we keep working with our existing dealer?
Yes, for the mechanical and controller work they are good at. What changes is that routine screen and schedule changes stop requiring them.
